Hello Landro owners,
I like to introduce here with my selve on this forum.
My name is Ron, living in a small town in the centre of the Netherlands.
64 years old and owning a Series 2 built in 1958
On this forum I hope to learn and find usefull information.
It's a complete restauration project after having standing under a tree for 20 years.
Complete rusted away. But for me a great chalange to re-built and own a series Land rover.
Probably many type mistakes a will make. But the goal is to understand each other so you have to deal with my bad English.
I have in the mean while the chassis ready and the engine built in again.
Working on the bulkhead now, and soon I have to paint it.
On Dutch forum I learned that the coulor is Bronze Green probably.
On the Heritache document the coulor is called Military green but is it a civil car.
Does any one can help me with coulor numbers for Bronze green from supplier as Sikkens or PPG or others as long I have some numbers ?
Second question, Should a '58 series be painted in gloss or?
And I like to use for the first part of spraying the bulkhead and other small part 1K paint.
Any one who van help me?
