I presume you had a snorkel fitted for wading? If so, did you fit extended breather pipes as well, or is that your next job?

That would be open to discussion. I think I did fit it for wading, Neil would not agree. The difference is our definition of what deep water is :rolleyes: It really fits into my plan that Mattie is prepared for anything. A bit like carrying two spare wheels (when I cant get the second off the door on my own) and carrying spares which I would not know how to fit :eek: The breathers are next on the list though :D:D

next job i beleive.
yer'll just have to watch out an wait for that epic.:D

she already has a pair of plugs in her 'andbag :eek:

Now that shows how much you know :p They left my handbag and are now fitted to the Landy for Lincolnshire last week. And yes I know I should have taken them out after, but she hasn't run since and wont until the Dales trip on Saturday.

And I believe my threads are very useful to the thousands of members who are as clueless as me. They just dare not admit it, unlike me who doesn't care :D:D:D:D:D

there are only about 75 active posters on here:rolleyes:

Well the wading kit with pipes and other stuff has arrived :D:D:D

Another set of instructions that look easy, but this time I don't believe it.

Am going to check and see if I have to remove anything vital to fit them. If not I might try, or maybe not as I am going laning on Saturday.

Trouble is there might be water on Saturday

Oh decisions decisions :confused::confused::confused::confused:

Bring the bits with you on Saturday, I'll show you where they go .. probably use mine to show you as it's already fitted .. ;)

There are a couple of 'awkward' areas ... unless you're used to working on Landies .. ;)

I am learning :p

I have now read the instructions in detail and it requires you to know the parts of the Landy or have a workshop manual with a proper index.

I was OK until they said cut the existing pipes :eek::eek::eek: from the gearbox breather, which apparently is no where near the gearbox:confused::confused:

Anyway not doing it now, making cake instead :D:D
