For my diesel to set up the FIP.
Anybody got a link on what to buy, never done this sort of thing before but it looks straight forward enough I just don't know what adaptors I would need to fit my pump.
Trying or going to cure my erratic idle/modulation thing.:)

I can give you an amateurs DIY method that doesn't need the dial gauge and adaptor. if you wish. All you need is a steel rule and spanners for the FIP mounting bolts.

Oh...
Does it perchance involve scribe marks and tapping the pump whilst someone observes the nanocom readings?
But, yes please anyway:)

Nanocom is just used to verify the readings, steel rule + pencil & paper. I'll PM you with details this evening when I have found the file on my replacement computer.

I've tweaked the pump a little further and it all went to pot, mod was 26% at 90 Deg so eased it back 1/32" and I now have 49-52% at 90 Deg.
I took the viscose fan off the pump to speed up warm up times.
No DTI used .
Good job wammers isn't around or I probably would of got a bollocking:D.

That's why I never published my amateurs FIP adjustment method:rolleyes:
I can give you a mod to run the car without the viscous fan using the aircon fans for cooling, simple and easy to do. The car is quieter and warms up quicker in winter.
Mine has been fine in ambient temperatures up to 40C:D
