Dropped a hot spot

My series 11a 2.5 N/A Ex Defender 12J. was purring along when there was a rather loud rattle. I switched of and checked around but nothing had escaped so turned the engine over and no irregular noise. So, as you do, started the engine and all was sort of o.k. A few miles further on and an injector failed and was obviously hosing. Fitted another injector and started but coolant was pressurised. Took the head off to find a hot spot had split and the resulting damage has stuffed the cylinder block. If any one has a block or engine I can purchase please let me know.

Sorry,can't help - might be worth posting in the Defender section as not everyone ventures over to this section

best bet is probably see if there are any ex mod engines on ebay or in the defender section and in the for sale section happy hunting
