Hi Everyone, could some one tell me if any of the white blocks behind drivers side kick panel have anything to do with the EAS height sensors on the drivers side?
Thanks in advance,
Paul.

If I have problems communicating with the EAS ECU it's normally the passenger side that causes the problem, but that is to communicate with the ECU. As Datatek says there may be leads on the drivers side for othe components in the EAS too. Its the larger of the white boxes (the smaller white block is for speakers) you may need to wire out. This means cutting and soldering each wire so the white block is gone. Do it one wire at a time. I would recommend you do BOTH sides. The following picture shows a good example of a bad connector that I have wired out. These white block connectors can cause ALL SORTS of problems.

Which reminds me of:
An old family story recounts a visit to Greenland by my wife's father and his brother. They took the best fishing gear and following hours of fly fishing hadn't got a single bite. But a young lad arrived with a stick and bent nail on some string. Soon he was getting fish. The men asked what he used for bait? - "liquorish" said the boy. The men hadn't realised there are no flies in Greenland so the fish didn't bite. The lad on the other hand used liquorish, that way he got All-Sorts !

Thanks all for your replys, very informative. I am having EAS problems at the mo (well for the last 6 months actually), I thought the small white block was EAS related and not the larger one. I have cut out both blocks on passenger side so I think I will have another look at the wires that were in the larger block:eek:. May be worth a look at drivers side too.

I always read and take in the advice from the Top senior members on here, including yourself, have been battling for some time now with my EAS and am determined to beat it, think I am getting closer with all the advice I receive, think its the only way that I am going to learn.
