If I have problems communicating with the EAS ECU it's normally the passenger side that causes the problem, but that is to communicate with the ECU. As Datatek says there may be leads on the drivers side for othe components in the EAS too. Its the larger of the white boxes (the smaller white block is for speakers) you may need to wire out. This means cutting and soldering each wire so the white block is gone. Do it one wire at a time. I would recommend you do BOTH sides.
