So, first off, my lock has been punched in by the looks of it, I took it out today (1 screw on the side) and it's in bits so I need a new key lock with key (if anyone is selling one)
However, shoud this stop the remote central locking from working for this door?
I have taken the door card off, when I lock the car I can't hear anything from the driver's door.
Should I disconnect the battery before taking the big door connector off? How can I test the central locking actuator for that door? The air back scares me a bit but I guess if I take battery off, take it off the door, (say put it on the roof) then plug power in I should be able to work out whats wrong
