First of all, this is my first post, please be gentle...

I'm having a problem with my driver door lock which is driving me nuts, any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Several weeks ago my wife was trying to lock or unlock the central locking using the keyfob whilst simultaneously leaning on the door lock/window controls panel in the driver door with her elbow. Which caused much confusion at the time and pressing of buttons. The end result is now that the driver door cannot be opened from the inside, whether the doors are locked or not. It's like the door is on permanent child lock. It opens fine from the outside, I have to keep winding the window down to open the door, which means I need to keep the ignition on to wind the window down and back up again.

Aside from the safety aspect, this is very annoying, please can anyone give any advice on the problem?

sounds like a fuse problem but do not think so try disconnecting battery and leave of for 10 mins and see if that does it ,she has obviously confused it .do not for get to have your radio code when reconnecting battery

Hi Teddy, thanks for the reply. Someone else suggested this, I'll give it a go, I don't have the radio code as yet. There's a dealer quite close to work here, I assume I'll be ble to get it from there.
I checked the fuses, all are okay.
Thanks for the tip, I'll let you know how it goes.
