Arse!
ive replaced the driving members and prop but ive still got play.
anything on the tranny box end that might be worn?

slack , it kangaroo's in slow traffic and clonks when putting power down on the throttle and taking power off.

its hard to pin down a clonk in the drive train.
is there flanges on the tranny box the same way there is flanges on the diffs?

not really , it sounds like its coming from the tranny box end but you cant really tell by sound as it travells through the whole drive train.
the drive members on my front axle were really badly worn , to the point of nearly sheering so there is a fair chance it could be the flange on the front diff as this would wear out with the drive members , wouldnt it?
