drive by wire?

hi there,

i am looking to convert my 110 TD to a 300tdi and have access to a nice auto disco.. but from what i have read the auto's are drive by wire. is there a way of converting it to a cable to fit my fender?

there not all edc ,just swap injection pump.throttle pedal,

injection pump will be different on my td wont it...? il have a look first then to make sure! cheers james. ooh while your here, are the disco auto transfer box's the same as the disco manuals?

Disco autos went drive by wire in 96, bhp went from 112 to 120.

ahh good, this one is M reg, which makes it 94/95? shame it has an auto box.. anyone wana swap an auto r380 for a manual!? ;-D
