Travis got his mot a few months back after a rear chassis change in prep for our 3 month trip around Europe today however a few big purchases have come and I'm very happy! 
In the back of the disco all the seats are coming out and a double bed frame with storage is going in. i have plans but no actual drawings or tangible things to show how its going to be yet but basically there is going to be a pull out draw underneath the bed that will be compartmentalised with cooking gear, food, cables.. everything needed on day to day basis behind that and in the rear foot well there will be access to our clothes/other things and a gas bottle down there too that will be supplying our little 2 hob cooker and grill. to the side of the pull out draw at the rear will be space for two foldaway chairs (the ones that are ultra compact) and possibly a camping table above the draw but below the mattress or maybe just a plank of wood to put onto of the draw to use as a table when its open ..
Anyway today marked the arrival of my accuride 4x4 draw slides 42" with 100% extension load rating 227kg and my mattress (dreams double memory foam)
so what did they both cost? the mattress was £320 but bought at auction for £45 and the slides should have been £200+ but were £80 delivery included from eBay i also bought a table at the auction house for £50 (a lovely john lewis one on there website at 600) and sold it the next day for 150! so i total we forked out only about £30 for the mattress and draw slides! ABSOLUTE BARGIN
im in the middle of 3rd year at uni writing my dissertation at the moment so I'm not planning on having any free time to actually materialise anything out of them yet but anyone who has done similar or has any ideas id love to here them in the mean while! once I've got some time ill put up more pictures as the project moves along
