door wont shut

when i slam door shut it bounces open again, to get it to stay shut i have to push with just the right force and hold it shut, have had doorcard off and greased everything, all bits seem to work smoothly, its not the cold it happened before. what can i adjust to sort this.

It could be the slam panel has bent in slightly, everynow and again I need to grab the edge of the panel on my 90 and pull at it, then the door shuts no problem.

It could also need the striker moving a little bit, as things wear they don't always line up correctly etc...

I had this problem with mine so I simply cut out the hard piece of rubber which is part of the door seal. It is the piece that goes around the striker area. Squeeze the rubber and feel for the solid piece. It's about six inches long and can be removed by making a slit with a sharp knife and pulling out with pliers. Worked a treat on mine and you still have the rest of the seal to keep the draft out
