the problem of door windows is a known one;those mechanisms break, the plastic at the ends break , the cable jumps from the channels on which it should walk, locking the window in various positions; all because of the excessive forces that appear in the system.

let me tell you my case; first I used those repair kits found on ebay; they didn't last long; then I bought the whole mechanism from the door, NEW and changed it; in a few years, they all cracked one at a time;

so the problem is a deeper one, I think it is about the window seals and the friction that the windows encounter during the operation.

for the moment I disconnected the power cables from the jacks to 2 windows after I gave up to repair them and the third time. it's a nightmare.

Do you have any idea, has any service bulletin been issued on this topic?

Can you make any adjustments in the door so that the glass slides as easily as possible, because I didn't find it?

It's good to look deeper into a fault to see if there is a root cause. I understand what you are saying. My experience has been that the cables fail through rust. Once replaced all seems well for many years. I don't think the pressure on the seals can be adjusted, maybe yours are swollen or have dirt in? Maybe worth stripping the window channel trim out and cleaning / inspecting and refitting??

I did what I described on 3 door. two times; only one works now;

last time, with all the new mechanism, it did not seem to me that the speed of lifting the window was an ideal one; towards the end it was becoming increasingly difficult to lift.

there may be rust/swellings underneath the window seals but honestly I am afraid to pull them because I have unlocked the door seals and now at the top they are no longer fixed and I have to push them in place from time to time. .
