Door Seals

I'm fitting new door seals, original Land Rover, other than the drivers side rear seal which is after market. Do I use sealant or glue between the rubber and the frame - I ask because the drivers side looked to have been glued when I took the old one off but don't know if this was from when first built..

They were not originaly glued but the factory one's had a strip of ali inside them so later replacements may well have been glued.

i have to do this too .. can you tell me which part Nr you have? i'm a bit confused between seeing seals that are marked as "Defender and S2 & S3"
I need the ones with the ali strip and holes for rivets

I've bought the OE seals with ali strips from Dunsold. I think the Defender seals need a lip to fit over.
