How difficult is it to repair the door frame? I think the rear is too far gone but the others its just the bottoms? Is it an easy welding job and how much damage is done when pealing back the door skin?

Thanks

David

Just done this repair it's an easy job, no damage to door skin if you take your time

Steel frame was cut to fit as pic above, frame was then removed while corners where welded. I then gave the back of the door skin and the back of the frame a couple of coats of paint. When paint was dry I covered the back of the frame with a coat of silicone before placing it back into the door and welding it into place. I also drilled 3 6mm holes on the underside to help any water drain. And a 10mm hole on the side enabling me to inject some dinitrol. Got my door bottom frame from YRM quality stuff :)

Are you thinking about going it yourself? I suggest you not to try this one. Once my friend tried and it was horrible experience. I suggest you to try any repair shop. You may try " EQautomotive".
