My drivers door mirror will not fold in. Its fairly loose to move Just makes a clunking sound. Can these be fixed? Or is it a new one.

check the motor and tightness of the fixings.
remove the clip off cover on the underside of the mirror
remove the clip off cover on the underside of the mirror
