Passenger side front door locks with both fob and inner master lock but won't open with either , only way to open door is with inner door handle all other doors work perfectly . car is a face lift TD4 HSE any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated .

Most likely is door lock solenoid has failed. Seperate open and lock solenoids. Fail after time. They are part of door lock assembly and best to replace whole thing. That is, the catch mechanism on the end of the door held by torx screws.
Not worth using second hand, they will not last any longer than yours and whilst the job isn't hard, it is fiddly. Rave manual covers it well.

had a look on you tube if that is what the problem is it may be more trouble to fix than than popping the handle . Not as agile as i used to be find it hard to bend my knees for any length of time,most of the time its only my self in the old beast so will probably leave well enough alone.thanks for swift response to my query .
