Ah needed to swap the door locks over from my old doors to my newer ones. Wasn't too hard a job tae do with the doors being off.
Here's how ah did it...
Removed the handle, etc to take the door card off
(ye can find out how to do that here http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f41/front-door-removal-75931.html )
Ye should then see this....
Ah took out the six bolts holding the big panel on....
and supported it to give me access tae the door mechanism...
then ah eased off the metal clip from the rod on the orange bit (be carefull as this clip will fly off and might get lost!) and moved the rod out of the way....
and then removed the clip from this rod and moved it out of the way...
then it was just a case of removing the two screws holding the handle on and removing it...
Once the handle was off ah undid the wee screw...
and removed the various pieces of plastic and removing the barrel...
then ah pressed in the wee sprig clip thingy and removed the plastic sleave....
Refitting is just a case of working backwards.
That's it, job done
