hi guys... still slowly working on my niggle list.. did pollen filters and the Plenum foam today..
next is my NS door lock..

so..

the button locks the NS door.. and having found a loose wire the other week in there, now locks the other doors too..

but.. the lock button dosent rise or lower from other doors, or from the fob...

is there a separate actuator that raises and lowers this internal lock button ? or is it connected somehow inside the door to the actual lock/latch ?

any ideas / pics/ fixes in time for tomorrow afternoon will help a great deal..

cheers

yeah, already did that when i looked befor unfortunately... i fixed the loose wire which what why the button wasnt activating the rest of the car... so now that works... but the button dosent raise or lower, so must be something else..

have a look at the inside where the lock is and follow the metal rod from the button to the lock and see if it attached to the lock its quite hard to see with the lock in place

I think you'll find its the micro switch gone on that door lock that's why it's not synced to remote.
The other possibility is its been changed or repaired and not resin he'd to key fob.

You could resynch central locking by putting key in drivers door and let go, then press and hold lock button on fob and keeping it hold turn key to lock position and back to centre.. Release lock button on remote. Press and hold unlock button on fob whilst turning key to unlock position and back to centre then release button.
Remove key and try central locking from fob.

If that doesn't work it could well be micro switch so you need to get replacement lock.

Hope this helps
