Hi All

I am sure some knowledgable person will assist.

Some delightful little B*****d has broke into my s3 by ripping off the top
door frameand wrecking both parts.

The police wouldnt turn out, soco may come soon if they are not too busy,
other than that I will get a letter with the crime report number in a few
days. That will really help solve the problem!!!

Rant over. What I need to know is: I have seen the solid one piece doors
and imagine they are more substancial. Would they fit re hinges and locks.
Any good advice?

Regards

Paul

Put and early Defender one piece door on, apart from grinding off the lip
it is easy.

Hinges are the same, and the door will fit in the hole perfectly. The
locks and latches may differ slightly, so you might have to get new
latches to go with your new doors.

IMO it's not worth the hastle.. a car is only as secure as the nearest house
brick. Not that I'm suggesting we all leave our windows open....

Hi Paul, I fitted defender doors to my 2a, just had to fit stikers from
donor vehicle, little fiddly but not outside the realms of DIY.

Regards, Roy.
