Does your air suspension always rise a little in the morning?

I have just replaced all 4 air springs on my car.

They were old and leaking. Every morning, the car was more or less on the bump stops.

Since replacing them and checking for leaks, which I cannot find one, thats checking all the pipes where they enter places, like the valve block, springs, dryer, etc.

But on a morning, when I start it, it still lifts all round a little bit. It's nowhere near the bump stops, its very high.

Is this normal?

When you say you have checked for leaks, have you done this with soupy water or a leak detection spray or other similar product, or is this just be feel? A little bit of air leaking overnight might well cause this.

Mine does exactly the same, according to RAVE, the EAS goes through a leveling cycle every 6 hours, I know one of my height sensors is dodgy and I think that it tries to level to a poor signal from the dodgy sensor so gradually it drops a bit. I can actually hear the solenoids operating as it does this.
I have a new sensor on order which will eliminate this possibility. It is also possible that the O rings are worn in the valve block which would allow air to leak without me seeing it.
No worries as long as it comes up quick in the morning:D:D:D

Mine does that too - I thought it was normal. The EAS system self-adjusts, AFAIK, and because I park up on a very steep driveway, I thought it was quite normal for it to level out like this. Can be a bit eerie late at night hearing a hiss-hiss-hiss noise now and then from a parked car though...:D

I had all the bags replaced , two sensors changed and a compressor revamp about 2 years ago after the car developed a strange sideways list to starboard :) when viewing from the rear, it was tilted about 30 degrees!! I also fitted a manual override inflation system for each bag, with a little pressure dial on each, so that it was easy to inflate at any garage air compressor if it dropped onto its bump stops after removing the EAS relay under the passeger seat, of course.....in the early days, when I had the occasional EAS problem, I used the system a lot! I am happy to say (touch wood) that it hasn't been used in ages, but its great to have!! We are now concentrating on the dying electronics of the climate control instead!! (hopefully solved).:blabla:
