you could try trawling round the little garages.... the sort that sell thousand pound cars... they get trade ins that aint worth a lot...even the one man band mechanics who dont really sell cars might be worth contacting , you could even try the scrap yards

I am just putting the engine back together is my sister 2001 Ka, same this dilema was a month further down the line.

I have bought a peugoet 306xl 1.4, I was very shocked I went under it last night to look at the exhaust and it is immaculate and all the bodywork has been sealed so not a drop of rust and the engine is sweet. I have been very lucky as I couldn't inspect it before I bought it, the OH loves it.
