Does anyone know where I can locate a 109 chassis?

As title suggests!

I've nearly ended up with enough parts to build a 109, wasn't intentional, it all got lumped together with other parts I've been laying my hands on. Currently short 1 chassis and having a hard time finding one. Does anyone happen to know of any good leads? Not afraid of a bit of welding, a V5 with would be the icing on the cake.

Not all 109 chassis are the same and decent second hand ones are rare. Your best bet would be to look for complete vehicle in terrible condition but with a saveable chassis or buy a new one.

They come up on ebay, you could set up an alert. Ypou could try the breakers who do Landys, there's one in Tring.

I have got one in my yard, can't decide whether to rebuild it or sell it as a going concern, it will need new dumb irons and an outrigger or 2 and other bits as well probably but well saveable . Its got military ID and I got the certificate from Gaydon to prove the year of build so its ready to get an age related plate when its done.
If you fancy a trip across the country we could discuss it.......

Far better starting with a complete wreck with reg no matching chassis and / or v5 otherwise you will end up on a Q plate and likely annual MOT and road tax! now they are more fussy with the 40 year rule!
