....their disco underside?

I've replaced my exhaust, but I think it's to close to the frame that goes to the A-ball joint? I think its called the A frame?

I need to check whats the clearance on it, as it looks like if I get to full articulation it will touch the exhaust?

or am I seeing the way it works completly wrong and it will never move that much?

I replaced the mid silencer for a straight through pipe, but now it looks too close to the frame?

Just want to be sure I wont be ripping the exhaust off on the first time Im out..
had a search on google, but couldnt find anything...

Same as Andy says .. I have a straight through middle bit and it's very tight .. but hasn't caught yet!!

kinda shows how tight it ias

not really on that pic...
its where the mid silencer ends and the rear section (curved bit) starts taht I think its too close to the A frame....

OOoooo what a fking tw@t!!!!
just been through my pictures and I had taken some when I had the disco up on the lift at my mechanics.!!!
can clearly see on this one how close the join between mid and rear section is to the a frame...

sorry guys..here's the pic if anyone is after it anyway..

Interesting picture, your exhaust is different to mine. On mine that joint is a slip joint with a U clamp holding it together. If it had a flanged joint like the one at the front of the mid silencer ie like yours, it would be too close to the A frame.
By the way LR's own exhaust is one piece, no joint in that position.

it's one piece only?
what, from the end of the downpipe all the way to the back box??

are you sure? that seems a bit long to me...

btw, thats a pic of how it was, ive taken that pic months ago, now it has a straight through exhaust

The front down pipe is separate on LR's original, the mid silencer, pipe and back box is all in one piece. Thats what I took off mine originally. Most after fit exhausts are in two pieces from the outlet of the front pipe back but some are still one piece. They're a nuisance to fit.

Jim, you can hardly slag Buckshot for having that **** bumper with that stupid snorkle top of yours! :D
