The hdc on my recently purchased freelander does not work,
I have checked the wiring to the microswitch under the gear stick and it seems to have been cut rather than worn away, obviously this is the reason for it not working.
Why would someone want to disconnect it ?
What would happen if I re connect it ?
Which coloured wires go to which terminal on the switch ?
Please help before I blow myself up, or drive down a cliff at 60mph !!!
