A: no id as its on range plates like a hybrid but it is a 90 tho if anybody wants the range id they can take it cheers Lee

that's a bit unfair - he's being honest about what it is, he could have claimed it's tax ex due to the S2 dash

UNBELIEVABLE!how the hell do people get away that?its probably just coincidence but at the begining of this year my old 90 got stolen,the neighbours said they saw a dark coloured either discovery or rangerover pull up and get in my 90,cos it was dark they just thought it was me pulling up with a mate as most of my mates have 4x4's,and look whats in the background in the pic,i dont live very far from where this is located either,dont get me wrong thats definatly not my old one in the pic but you see what im getting at dont you

but he's basically saying you can have the v5 if you want it, should he realy be doing that???

naw,wot he should be really sayin is that this is a 90 i built outta various bits and i tried to mot it with the rangie id and the testin bloke wunt happy,so it needs an sva and i int got any reciepts for the bits i used so vosa int very happy so i,ll punt it off to sum other mug

they get away with it simply due to the mechano-like construction which makes it so easy to build a bitsa - that's just how it is, it's nowt to do with lack of plod on the streets the scrots could steal a plod station if they wanted one

its obviously got a hidden past, we cant prove its stolen but its looking that way with it having a rangie i.d ffs!! hes either stupid as **** or got the balls to put a dodgey 90 on ebay, balls to u lot who think im being harsh coz i bet sum1 on here is thinking is that mine??

unless he loves cold porridge and a fetching blue one piece why would he have a plate visible and offer to include a V5 with it if it was stolen

it's a bitsa and he's not hiding that fact

last 1 i wound up it was took off ebay within half an hour and a night of head blagging later he wanted to give me the defender for £200

where the fook is the ignition switch on that is it the red wire hangin off the column next to the black wire hmmmm

series 2 bulkhead so might be on the centre dash or the screwdriver mite be in his toolbox

ignition is the large switch in the centre panel. Also controls the lights. The dash is a late series 2 as the vents on a lever, and not a twist dial as the earlier ones.

Defnitely a bitsa at least - why the rangie ID is strange. Possibly as already suggested, he cannot get it mot'd - or as i suspect, it has a chequered past.
