i have 33"x12.5"xr15 on +5 modulars, convert that over and its 285/85/r15 even with the modulars i had to cut my arches, i think you may get alittle bit of rubbing on the rear with the tyre size that you want to use. You could either camel the rear arches or fit the flat dog arches like mine, downside is with the arches is A:cost around £164, and B: you have to cut the wings, doors, and rear quarters

Flat Dog arches all the way. Plenty of room for bigger tyres and looks the Flat Dog's bollox too.

Recommend the 50mm arches vice 75mm though, as they look a bit over kill otherwise - unless you're going down the Funky Kipper route and fitting wheel spacers, 5" lift and 285 tyres - in which case they're in-keeping with the rest of it. :D

i'm running the 75mm arches with a 2" lift, on the 285/85/15 wheels and tyres, to be fair though i wish i'd gone with the 50mm arches

Did you have to do any more mods to get the 285s on and do they rub anywhere at any point when off road?

apart from cutting the crap out of the bodywork to fit the arches no. I've not had it off road yet, well its spent around 2 months in total off the the road lol. It has been down one or 2 gentle green lanes, and no rubbing. Wheels were inside the arch but wasn't catching anywhere.

im running 2" lift and 2" body lift with 75mm flatdog arches, my tyres are 315/75 16 on standard modulars with 30mm wheel spacers.

this was the minimum i needed to stop them rubbing

right so the wheels and tyres im looking at are 265 75 16 on 16x8 modular steels will they fit without spacers

ive got a 2" ift on hd springs im open to cutting the body but do i have to cut the whole weel arch or just the corners off ? what tools are best to use for cutting a neat edge ive only got a grinder and thats a bit fierce
