Afternoon all, I am thinking about buying a Dixon Bate Drop Plate (height adjuster) for my SWB Series 3. I see on their website that they have 100, 150, 200 and 260 mm versions. Does anyone have experience of these and what size do you recommend as a best compromise?

Its depends what you use the Landy for. If you use a small wheeled trailer then you will need a low option if the trailer is to ride level but a low drop plate can dig in off road. You can take it off for off-roading but its a faff. There's also the twisting moment on the rear cross member - you don't want a lot of forwards and backswards force far from the cross-member centre so in practice you may not want to put a heavy trailer on the low position. Google images and see what they look like fitted.

Thanks Rob, that is good advice

The Dixon bate model is intended to acccomdate as posted. The other consideration as posted is nose up / nose down adjustments. That's what a DB provides.
