If its something specific you wanted to look at I have a TD5 Nanocom for my defender.
I could bring it with me when I pick the alternator up.
I saw where someone was looking to set up another group buy recently maybe that is still going on.

My D2 has a few bits that need sorting. EGR deleted, swap suspension so it knows its on coils not bags, also I only have 1 key so a coded key would be a bonus....
I also know a few people who run the TD5 discos so there could be an option to trade plug ins for beer tokens?

Not sure @raywin will be able to do what you want in totality as there are some different modules between the defender and the Disco. Will be interesting to see what can be done.

Hi Neilly, Yes I don't know how much is possible, from what I hear the engine stuff its common to Defender and Discovery, but after that I dont know. should be worth a try and see what can be done may help others if we can find out what works and what doesn't.

Well now its clear.
My Nanocom for the Defender TD5 will access all the engine functions for the Discovery, but not the suspension, transmission, or security
So I presume the Discovery unlocked one will be similar i.e. access Defender engine functions, but nothing else.
 
i have used mine numerous times on both defender and disco, must have paid for its self now
i bought the codes for td5 defender and the disco
cant imagine how much its saved me listing to bull****ting mechanics and the help here and other boards when you got a problem

my defender has got bugger all else to access except the engine i should have just got the code for the disco td5 as it does access the defender engine through the disco settings

I started to wonder about that cant see a flaw in the plan maybe someone knows something
