Discovery2 owner saying Hello.

Hi everyone. Ive had my discovery2 for about 5years. Bought it with 82K, been driving around Scandinavia and the Arctic circle for the last 4 years and put over 50K on him. The only repairs needed have been a power steering pump and a fuel pipe above the fuel tank. The only mods I fitted when I first got it was to fit a winch bumper and a heavy duty Superwinch (save my butt many times in the snow and ice of the Arctic), Bosch spots, headrest dvd players for the children, and spiked winter wheel sets.
I got a couple issues with it at the moment, so hoping to gain some knowledge in helping to resolve my problems it.
Hoping to load some great pics on here of its journey in the Arctic.

Definitely.... it's been a beaut of a truck. I was going to purchase a discovery 3 when I got it, but decided that a discovery 2 would be more reliable and easier to maintain in the location we were at in the Arctic @ -35degC (less electrics)......and what I great decision, our Leonard has been a great friend to us. Been 90Deg on it's side twice (sunk it snow ditches), it pulled a twin axle motorhome bellied down in lakeside soft stone, pulled over 2T of weight (Ifor williams twin wheel box) across Europe to the Arctic Circle 4 x times! Brilliant!

Welcome to the loony zone Sounds like you have a great truck. I only worry about -18 to 22 in Russia with my P38.

Anything lower than -25 and mine needed 2x heats on the plugs, but would always start (never failed for 4 years), even @ -35degC!
Our first Christmas there we woke up on boxing day to find the car had completely disappeared, under nearly 6ft of snow! I dug out access to the drivers door, brushed off the windscreen, stuck Leonard in low, and plowed out to the road about 100Metres no problem, did the run a few times to the cabin and back, and wallah, job was a good'un.
Before our 2nd winter there, I fitted the plug in engine warmer (into core plug hole), this electric warmer is like a mini kettle element that goes into the block, and keeps the engine and coolant system warm........it was nice to be able to start the truck and have heat quickly filling the car
