I could do with a wiring diagram as the haynes is not much good. Vehicle is a 1994 200TDI

94 were 300, not that engine matters, but wiring it totally different 200 body to 300 body.
Google fusible links, Iirc drivers side inner wing.

There was two model year discos in the showrooms in 1994, the out going 93MY (200 series) and then the new 95MY (300 series), which had a more advanced electrical system.

So for your 200 disco you need a electrical diagram, which Haynes manual has, the supply to the bulbs will be via the fusible links under the bonnet then on to the lighting switch- fuses to the headlamp / side light bulbs, therefore straight forward, although u may still have the headlamp dim-dip module in place to confuse the issue

Other circuits start off via the fusible link which is a trouble spot, loads of info all ready in the disco forums.

Having bought kit cars like this, this is sadly sometimes par for the course.
I have heard of them wired entirely in one colour!
Hint, buy a complete loom from a breakers. Then modify it. and fit it. Don't throw the one away that is in the car as it will have useful wire of the right colour, relays, etc. In case you need to extend anything.
Just make sure you know if the engine is a 200 tdi or a 300tdi, they do look totally different under the bonnet!
This will be MUCH quicker than trying to figure out what some sh!thead has done.;)
