Just had a old mate round ,hes a builder who has a transit van ,been telling me hes just had a new starter motor ,alternater ,battery ,tyres and balljoints fitted in the last 6 weeks ,he said its worth more in bits ! so hence forth the big qeustion iv got a 97 disco so whats it likely to be worth in bits if you parked it up off road and sold as many parts as possible say over a 1 year period ? curious to know ,ady

Assuming you sold everything about a grand but in reality you're unlikely to sell more than 75% of it. so £750 max But a lot depends on whether it's got a full leather inrterior and top of the range alloys or a ****ty beige interior & steel wheels with bald tyres on em..

A 97 disco is worth more whole than in bits. Like pikey says you'll probably get 750 quid or so for it as parts but it'll take a long time to get shot of it all and it's a lot of work.
