Discovery td5 tax

evening all

After selling my discovery 5 years ago after purchasing a navara d40 I’m feeling a switch back as I no longer use it everyday since buying a run around. When I had mine the tax was something like 260 a year like my navara is now. After seeing an advert for a discovery stating the tax was £570 i was shocked. Is this now the case with the new laws in place I may have to keep my navara a little longer if that’s correct.

Later ones a bit more expensive than earlier ones but not what you have been quoted. Mine is about £270 a year, just got refunded 2 months tax, as sorned due to Covid. £44.16 for 2 months, so this looks about right.

My 2002 TD5 Auto is 330 a year which works out at just under 29 a month

2000 to 2005 will probably be £300+, I can't remember the exact figures. 2006 onwards will be £570+, again I can't remember the exact figures and if you go a lot newer it may come down but I didn't look that far. Commercial will be £250odd but insurance will be more. At least that is the case for me.

Just bought a year for my 2004 TD5 Auto on 29April, due 1 May. £330 for the year.
