My 1999 disco TD5 has suddenly developed a problem. On driving off, stopping
at a junction the clutch began to slip. Landrover Assistance duly arrived
and examined the car. He looked at the clutch fluid and this was ok. He then
tried the pedal and said that there was a problem with the master cylinder.
It had taken four days to get the car into the dealer. After initial
examination the dealer says I now need to replace both the master and slave
because neither are leaking and the problem could be in either!
Having replaced both cylinders I am now told that the fault is still present
and that the clutch bearing is at fault!
Can any of you Landrover wizards give me some advice.

Regards
Richard
