Discovery or Range Rover V8

For some mad reason I feel the need to get back in a Land Rover from my comfy and reliable Hilux Surf so im keeping an eye out for a standard or semi offroad Discovery 1 or Range Rover classic V8.

LPG is a bonus as is being local although will travel for a good deal !

Dont mind some welding as had a Land Rover before !

Certainly not in a rush to buy but have cash waiting for the right one and hoping for under £1000

I'm in love with my range rover, discos are just abit boring and common

Body panels might be harder to find, but underneath there the same and RV8's are common so parts for them would be easy, loads of places do replace my panels anyway

Derek Allfrey has a nice p-reg V8 auto that belongs to one of his customers sitting in his yard awaiting a buyer - really nice condition and well under 100000 miles - he has looked after it for years - you won't get it for under a grand though.

I expect it is a nice looked after one but to get me out the Toyota it needs to be sub £1000 im afraid
