Discovery door locks

I've swapped barrels from a 1991 D1 - did the whole suite

keep the key in the barrel to hold the 'keepers' in place ...

un-clip the circlip from the back of the lock - pull barrel out

reverse for re-fit ...

I found it a doddle - :eek:

but then I've got skinny fingers - if you're endowed with sausages you may have more bother - or bribe the missus ...

Tis a piece of the proverbial cake, as Dippy said just keep the key in there to hold all the bits in whilst taking it out, then jam it full of grease slide in the spliney bits and slip into new handle assembly, job jobbed.

It took me about 20 mins to do the first one which involved working out where everything was supposed to go and i have fat fingers and a slow mind, its a doddle BUd, crack on:D
