hi i own a 95 300tdi discovery with the auto box and after offroadin a few weeks back the transfer box jammed in diffock (lever still moves free but was winding up) so after removing front prop as a temporary measure carried on up until fitting a 2" lift a set of 7.50s then a week later it would set off fine but struggle to pass 3thou revs but now it struggle to even set off at 1st we thought it was a boost issue but no splits/ leaks so thought it could be fuel so changed the filter and checked supply to the top of the injectors all seem fine now some people are telling meits the injection pump an some say head gasket or stuck wastegate. has anyone else suffered with similar problems any advice would be much appreciatted cheers!

...and pray its not EDC ! Anyway,3000 revs is pretty high for an auto 300tdi.....isnt it?

not really mine will rev to about 3250 maybe a little more but all the power is lower down anyway :)

not sure they made edc in 95 think it was only introduced into the later 300tdis

Look towards the RHS of your injector pump for lots of electrics. As I understand, if there's a black plastic box with tamper proof screws (fuel cut off/immobiliser) it's EDC

As has been said previously.

Lift pump, blocked fuel filter, dirty sedimenter, blocked fuel lines / pickup in tank.

I'd make sure it's not air in fuel line (especially if you've recently changed the filter) confirmed this to be an issue with my disco some time ago by adding a section of clear tubing between filter and injector pump.
You could also check how much fuel is coming out of each of the injectors
