Hi, I own a 2016 discovery, and wanted to know if when you press the tailgate button on the key fob, should it release the tailgate fully or do you require to push the button on the handle to fully open ? As when I press the key fob, it only opens on the first catch, and then I have to press the actual button on the handle, which in my mind seems pointless even having the button on the key. Would love to know what everyone else’s discovery’s tailgates do ! Thanks.

Pretty certain that is what they do, ie first catch only, which as you have discovered is pointless.
You can programme the third button to do other things, well worth some googling.
