Hi All,
On my Disco 4 (13 plate), I have a camera feed fault. See the embed below.
If you can’t see the media, it is a bad feed sort of picture, but the unit works fine for all other features, such as radio and normal LR functions.

I have currently changed the camera for a new one (£300+ for a LR one), swapped the module to see if that helped (did use a second hand one and not a new one) and had an electrician check all the wiring and feeds. They found a sensor out (middle drivers side). I’ve changed the sensor, but if the head unit (which is away for diagnostic checks) comes back clean then it will be a rear bumper loom change.

Any ideas please. It’s almost like a PAL/NTSC problem or an earth problem that I can’t narrow down.

Thanks in advance.

Have you had a diagnostic read done?
Hi Yes,
Not a Landrover Stealer one. My iCarSoft one wouldn’t even recognise the Parking module. The autoelectrians (Halls Electrical) put a read on it to diagnose the parking sensor out and tested all the cabling.

Unless the Parking Aid module I tried was also not working, then I am kinda stumped. I only have the single reverse camera, am I missing another module anywhere?

:)Solved:)

With a £192 diagnostic and 2 days being quoted with The Landrover Dealer, I thought I would try one more thing.

Turns out it was the bumper cable. I did change all 4 of the sensors as well, as I don’t want to have to take the bumper off again. The middle connector on the cable is for a keyless entry antenna.

Another Friday Afternoon design of a system that is akin to Christmas Tree lights when fault finding.

Good luck to everyone who has ‘Cameras not available, Contact Dealer’
