ayup lads an lasses.i got a 300tdi.when i change gear its making a clunking noise.its not a lose dif i dont think..any 1 help

could be lots of things , check A frame ball joint ,check mainshaft /input gear splines by removing pto cover off rear of transfer box ,drive member,ujs

its not ujs either.not sure when rest was grased tbh olny got it last week.did the head gasket.an just noticed to clunk when i change gear..all half shafts are ok to

Clutch fork ? which end of the engine is it ?? the noise I mean , not the clutch . ( before some smart arse makes a comment )

sounds like straight under the gear box ...

Well seems like you're going to get to know the back end of the engine as well as you already know the front end , box out time ??

look at rear of transfer box ,round plate 6 x bolt
