Hi this is my first post and my first discovery , i have had my 2006 2.7 v6 SE auto . for 2 month and when i start driving and turn right i get a rumbling sound and feeling through front of car , i have had front differential seal changed as was leaking and filed up with oil yesterday but still same when i turn . Iv been told a lot of things by backstreet garages but i not a millionaire, so I decided to ask the professionals for help , thanks

Could be props, diff, wheel bearings,
Driveshafts.
Jack the wheels up and spin them, see if the rumbling can be heard.

Ok ill try that tomorrow, i not mechanic but not stupid so just jack a wheel up and see if it wobbles / feels loose and sounds different ?

The give away is the rumble as you turn, wheel bearing about an hours work if your slow and drink lots of tea.
Nice thing about the D3 the bearing is in the hub so new hub unit in one about £45 for a new one and a bit of spannering

Ok just an update i have been garage today to use there jack , they were using them so i will try again tomorrow , and i was going through costa drive in and at around 1 mph turn of the wheel to the right and going 1 mph the rumble turned into a load thudding, it seams to happen when turning right or reversing left and sometimes turning left at all at low speed , thanks for helping lads i really need it

Is it a clunk or a thud, and do you know exactly where? My recent 'clunks' on slow moving , and wheel turning , turned out to be ball joint for clunk coming from o/s/f . The middle clunk turned out to be drop link.

Hay thanks , it seems like a great place for advice and not people talking down to you , .
We do,do that, sometimes. It,depends if we've been fed. Other times we just take the mickey and go off track a lot :)

BTW why did I think I was in Intro section, then thought 'nope it's Disco section'. Then realised it is Intro.
I'm sooooooo old and soooooo confused
