Disco 1 Discovery 200tdi

Hi everyone, main project is mothballed at the moment, after a bit of advice.
Does a disco 1 200tdi use a metro windscreen wiper stalk or can I modify it?

Yes it does, I replaced mine with one from a Metro HSE because that one has fibre optics in the stalks
So the controls glow in the dark,

Many thanks, it was just that the disco stalk doesn’t have the black wire on it, so was curious if it was an earth, took mine out and it has metro stamped on it with 218sa & 3666a lucas

Should be a straight swop, mine was playing up because it hadn’t been used in a very long time
So swap it for one off another Discovery 1 200tdi with no problem, gave mine a clean and bit of lube
And got it working again so refitted it, plug and play!
