thanks britrest, the td5 temp sensor seams to work (light goes out and dial goes into blue position) :)
just missing my RPM, Speedo and Km counter :)
fingers crossed
will share all the project wen done :)

Did you remove the original engine management ECU? You have to keep this in as far as I have experience as it generates the PWM signal via the crank sensor, for controlling many of the cars electronics

The speedo is driven from the SLABS ECU via the wheel hubs - there is no real need to make any modifications

RPM - I have not read the full thread as I am a bit busy but the RPM signal is generated from the crank positioning sensor - from experience you must use the original sensor and adapt it to the 200 Tdi flywheel - this is tricky - if you PM me I can send you some pics of a 300 TdI conversion flywheel we can do. This is very specialised work and has to be accurate - as we convert V8 to Tdi and use the 5 speed not the auto, the Crank sensor pick up pin runs in a groove with less than 0.75 mm either side of the pin to play with

The 200/300 Tdi flywheels are the same so not too bad, but if you used a Td5 flywheel the the reluctor ring is on the outer edge of the flywheel and the sensor is in the bell housing so you could use those if you kept the Td5 5 speed transmission and it should work.

I did an experiment with a crank sensor on the front of the engine via the belt pulley and a crank sensor from a Ford as they are the same family of sensor - but it didn't work as the signal was out of range for the ECU - and I didn't have enough time to experiment more.

Getting the RPM to work is the most complex of this conversion - but it can be done
