Hi All, I have just bought a disco 2 and the rear wiper was not working, i checked each one of the fuse's and i had 12v to each one 18,26, and 30 as per other threads, relay 7 appears to be working when you pull it in and out, i have put a new motor on today but still no joy, i can hear the relay on the main fuse board switching about every 10 sec approx. any thoughts. is there a wiring diagram someone can point me to.
Thanks

Have you checked that there is power to the new motor when the wiper is activated?
If yes, you have a dodgy motor and should send it back.
If not, and there is power to the relay as you suggest, then it sounds as though you may have a continuity break between the motor and the relay.

Hi I have just check it all out again. When the rely energises I get 12v to the motor but it doesn’t start. If i bridge out the power coming from the relay on the motor connector (3 pin connector) to the actual motor (brown of 2 pin connector) supply it works as it should do on the latching supply. I think it’s something to do with the relay not holding long enough to latch can’t see it being a second motor as if I trick it, wiring it external it works.
