Discovery 2 metropolis auto box problem

HI landygang I have a td5 metropolis 03 reg I've experienced in the last couple of weeks had juddering between 2500-3000 rpm if I accelerate hard if I do it slowly it on anyway I was advised by one of my friends the the clutch packs were slipping in the auto box as he'd had the same problem so found a second hand box with 84000 on it fitted it 1st I had no drive in and out a few times and drive engaged drove it a few miles then the juddering started I find it hard to believe that the 2nd hand box has exactly the same problem.
Please help it's driving me cuckoo an advice would be great.

try a ATF and filter change,see if that helps.

Someone mentioned on another forum that it could be a bent flexi plate !!!

ok,so if nothing comes up on diagnostics,then it must be a mechanical problem,what that is i do not know.

this may sound nuts but are the props , ujs , drive shafts etc , tracking all ok

seeing you've also put another box in

did u reuse the same torque convertor

gearbox, engine mounting etc all ok

I'm not sure tbh but I have spoken to ashcroft and they have said that it is possible for them to bend but very rare just seems funny that both

All seems ok and I bought the torque converter with the new box

Did you replace the propshaft back in the same bolt holes you took it from?.
