245000 miles
Mint chassis no welding cleaned and wax oiled every 2 years inside Lance sprayed
I fully service every 5000 all filters and oil including gear box and transfer
Brake fluid every 2 years
New set of AT2
New OEM fuel pump
Body tidy no rot
Some say keep value going up
What do you think

If its not costing lots in repairs and its being used keep it, you will have to spend a lot to get the same in a newer motor

Thing is iam retiring
And I can’t afford 29 mpg and 340 tax
But I can afford to run it round the block now and then to keep it aired shall we say

Do you do a lot of miles ? is it your only car, If it does not drop in value or goes up what ever you buy will drop in value by at least £1000 a year if a newer car, if you take 340 off that (if new car zero road tax) which leaves £12.50 a week to pay for extra fuel,

If you cant afford it & its got no known major faults which it sounds as if it hasnt, sell it before it
breaks. The value wont go up as much as people think, they dont like being parked up.
