Discovery 2 diff guards

Hi, just a quick one. Looking at some under body protection, I am getting a steering guard when I can afford a winch bumper. But I would like some diff guards. Now, are these any good Diff Guard - Zinc Plated - Front - Bearmach BA 121A at www.rimmerbros.co.uk
Or should I pay a bit more and get some Terrafirma or QT ones?

Personally I don't rate those in the link.
OK they protect the diff pan somewhat but the QT and TerraFirma ones are skid-plates which helps to ride over rocks and branches etc. and are effective in reverse as well as forwards.
The QT one on the rear of my D1 also projects forwards and offers some protection to the U/J & pinion.
The front one goes over the steering rod which provides a little protection there too.
Save up and get the QT or TF ones IMHO

Hi, I had a set of those on a previous D1 and tried to fot to current D2 which was not successful. Best go for some "wraparound style" versions whihc offer better protection in any case.

Thanks for the advice guys. Will now look for the best price terra's or QT.

Qt is the way to go,
