Discovery 2 arch trim,sprats removal and refitting questions

I am looking to remove and tidy my arch sprats due to the normal sun damage.

2 things
first what can be used to remove the old sticky foam stuff?

Second I was wondering if others had done it and what was used to stick them back on?

I'm guessing 3m double sided foam tape of some sort but thought I would ask to see if anyone had used a certain make etc?

removed mine tried 3m d/s foam tape didnt want to stick so used soudal fix all

I used sikaflex on mine and they haven't fallen off yet

Warm the arch trims with a hair dryer and gently pull off the old trims. They should come off clean but if not wipe the glue with solvent and it will easily come off the bodywork. Replacement trims come with two strips of adhesive already mounted on the trim and providing that the bodywork is clean (clean with solvent and let dry) this is stong enough to hold onto the bodywork. I did mine nearly 2 yrs ago and still holding tight
