On my Discovery 1 the third row of seats (sideways facing) folded completely into the rear wing area. The boot space was symetrical.
On my Discovery 2 (2002 v8 ES Facelift) the third row of seats (forward facing) take up more space when folded away as only the one on the drivers side folds completely into the side panel, the one on the passenger side folds and protrudes into the boot space.
Why is the rear nearside back end of the car so wide compared to the offside? What has Land Rover hidden in there?
I think this only applies to some models as I am sure that I have seen Disco 2's with forward facing rear seats that tuck away properly and equally on both sides.
It would be nice to find somewhere to put another lpg tank as I only get about 12-13mpg on gas and have to fill up every 120 miles or so.
