Discovery 1 300tdi Offroad / Greenlane build

Bought myself a 300tdi Auto import in good nick. No rot as it's an import.

Brand new winch super winch tiger shark 9500
recently fitted winch bumper.
2 inch suspension lift.
30" maxxis trepadors


How it was when I got it.



Gave it a clean up and a decent service. Wire Brush underneath and a waxoyl.
(Yes it is the same car.)





Little day out walking the dogs. Nothing special.





Painted up a steering guard ready to be fitted.



Few little things to sort as always on a landy.
Front suspension has a little knock so I've got the poly bushes for that.
Going to do the diff oils. And a side exit exhaust.
Also ordered a superwinch neoprene winch cover.


Plans are to move to 33" wheels with a mud tyres for fun.
And have some 30" ATs for the rest of the time.

Running 50:50 diesel and veg.

Wrap around diff guards and snorkel ordered. I'll get some pics when they arrive.
Also going to make a breather kit

Fitted superwinch cover





Can see the steering guard, Bearmach Wrap around Diff covers which are on front and back and winch cover.
(Excuse my knackered plate. Going to be replaced with a stick on plate once my private plate transfer goes through.)



Also lines the boot with some foam checker plate style garage floor tiles.




New rear mug flaps.


Also fitted a new fuel lift pump and replaced the front damper bushes for polybushes as I had a knock. All sorted now.

Just need to fit the snorkel when I have some more free time.

Off out Northumberland way in the disco tomorrow. For some laning / offroad.
